From the import and export situation of wood flooring, there is a trade surplus in China's wood flooring industry, but the trade surplus has gradually decreased in recent years. In 2020, affected by the epidemic, China's wood flooring imports and exports have declined. According to customs data, China's wood flooring imports were $0.078 billion in 2020, down 8.24 percent from 2019; wood flooring exports were $0.12 billion, down 18.92 percent from 2019, with a trade surplus of $0.042 billion.

Wood floor price moderate growth

From the wood floor price point of view, in recent years, the overall performance of China's wood floor price is moderate growth. As of April 2021, the price index of reinforced flooring (8%) in China is 1144.79 points, the price index of solid wood composite flooring is 1031.13 points, and the price index of solid wood flooring is 1226.83 points. Affected by the increase in the price of raw material wood in the upstream, the price of wood flooring in China is expected to rise slightly in 2021.
